Youth Empowerment through Sport
Youth Empowerment through Sport (YES) is a youth-led program designed to give young people the sports leadership skills to manage and run their own sporting activities, events and competitions.
The program provides opportunities for young people to develop personal and social responsibility through active involvement in sport participation, leadership roles and a range of team building activities.

- To enhance sports leadership capacity of young people in one or more of a range of selected sports related roles (coach, manager, journalist, official, etc.)
- To provide opportunities for young people to improve their levels of personal and social responsibility through active involvement in authentic learning situations
- To promote a youth friendly environment where young people feel a sense of belonging, self-worth and personal satisfaction through participation and peer interaction
