As a social development organization the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Alliance for Sports and Physical Education (SVGASPE) focuses on a wider human development construct that holistically meet the needs of growing communities. SVGASPE engender and establish hope in the mind’s eye that there is a better day tomorrow “breaking the chain of jaded realities and unsustainable futures”. Emphatically the experience reveals that a community’s social position today is transient to where the trajectory of participatory community development delivers them.

The drawings may not have been worthy of any art gallery and the maps were certainly not drawn to scale, but what was obvious was that delegates had a clear and common vision for sport in Belize. The event was the first consultation on the National Sport Sector Strategy hosted by the Ministry of Education, Youth & Sport and facilitated by the Caribbean Sport & Development Agency (formerly known as TTASPE).
